<p>The Aeolian Harp application is inspired by Aeolus, the ancient Greek god of the wind. Wind harps stand as the oldest forms of automatic music. The app leverages the wind harp as a metaphor, offering users the opportunity to craft serene animations and sounds regardless of their musical expertise.</p>
<ul>
<li>Interactions through touches and strokes produce evolving visualizations and sounds over time.</li>
<li>Customizable parameters and color schemes empower users to delve into the intricacies of the underlying particle system.</li>
<li>The compass functionality aids in locating a variety of instruments at the cardinal points: Balalaika, Celtic Harp, Guitar, Gamelan, Guzheng, Kalimba, Koto, Marimba, Orchestral Harp, and Sitar. Assigning an instrument to a direction is as simple as double-tapping the corresponding cardinal point.</li>
<li>Utilizing the acceleration sensor mimics gravity's impact on the particles' movement. Adjustment of the gravity parameter reveals noticeable effects. Users can also experiment with different parameters to modulate sound duration. For instance, tweaking parameters like particle evaporation and elasticity can create seamless sound loops.</li>
<li>Users have the option to capture snapshots of their animations and share them via email.</li>
<li>Headphones and external speakers are recommended for an enhanced experience, especially since iPod and iPhone speakers may distort high and low tones.</li>
